In an age where “musicianship” merely means the quality of one’s auto-tune software, or the accuracy of one’s AI platform, it’s a rare thing to witness a band quite like Ravagers.\nOne glance is all it takes to know this isn’t just a band but rather a straight-u\np, low-down goddamn gang.\nDenim, leather, sunglasses... the sort of image that made the best rock groups of late 1970s NYC the icons they were.\nBut no, this ain’t the Lower East Side. This group could have only slimed its way out of the chaotic,\ncorrupt, crime-ridden birth canal that is Baltimore City.\nMessy, but sharp. Dangerous, but propulsive. You want to be a part of it but understand the risks and\nrepercussions right away.\nHere is a group that doesn’t smile, so much as it snarls. It doesn’t sing so much as it sneers.\nMasters of their craft, these cretins play nicely but never play nice. They don’t\nentertain their audience, they engulf it.

For over a decade, guitarist and vocalist Alex Hagen has been penning the sort of nightmarish yet\nanthemic punk rock that captivates the youth as well as yesterday’s heroes. Blending hard rock, ‘77\npunk and arena guitar hooks - courtesy of lead guitarist Matt Gabs (formerly of Fishnet\nStalkers/BITERS) - the group vows to exterminate any poser vermin that stand in their way. Clawing\ntheir way across countless U.S. and European runs, Ravagers have shared stages and tours with the\nlikes of legends such as The Damned, Michael Monroe, The Adicts, Fear, and Supersuckers just to\nname a few.

The group’s two LPs, Badlands (2022) and On the Loose (2025) blend ‘77 punk and hard rock with the\naddition of the macabre dark-wave sound Stiv soughtin Lords of the New Church. Backed by the\nrhythm section of Ray Peters and Sam Hariss, Ravagers drive the relentless, white-knuckle force of\nMotörhead with the hook-driven melodies of Thin Lizzy, Alice Cooper, and Turbonegro.\nRavagers: The band that bites back

Action, högljudda gitarrer och massor av rå garagemusik.\nThe Gonzoes (Gon-ZOH-ees) kombinerar punkiga ljud med tradition av svensk actionrock.\nThe Gonzoes from Stockholm, Sweden, was founded in 2023 by Brilje (Alister, Lilith) on guitar, Otto (Onoskelis, Lilith) on guitar and vox, Johan (Derby STHLM, Lilith) on drums and Carl (Strikt, Reckless State) on bass.

The Gonzoes play furious rock’n’roll, influenced by garage, punk and boogie. It’s a blender of Lizzy-like riffs, high voltage and Motörhead harmonies. No boasting, no make-up and no backing tracks.

A six-piece EP, ”What is this shit!”, was released in 2024. Recordings of a full-length album took off in winter 2024-2025 and a first single, ”Dead Rollin”, was released in May 2025, followed by “Unholy Drive” and “Shot Into Space” during the fall. The full album “Charger” was released on streaming platforms 31 October 2025. “It smells like gasoline and beer” as a Japanese reviewer summarized it.

The band is planning to start recording a second album in 2026.
